Funds for Writers
Thanks to a heads-up by my sister years ago, I’ve been subscribed to Funds for Writers since almost the very beginning (2001) of this breezy and simple e-newsletter for working writers. Editor C. Hope Clark pulls together tidbits about the writing life and a round-up of markets, contests, retreats, and the like. There are several flavors available these days: a freebie, a “small markets” version for those that don’t pay well, and a for-pay version ($12 a year, on discount once a year) with a large roster of markets and contacts.
